Profile
Faraon's research spans different areas of quantum-scale and nanoscale engineering, specifically solid state quantum optics and nano-photonics. Applications include quantum information processing, on-chip optical signal processing at ultra-low power levels, energy efficient sensors, on-chip optical quantum memories, and bio-photonics. The Faraon Lab develops nano-photonic technologies for devices that operate close to the fundamental limit of light-matter interaction.
